If there is one thing that home cooks dread about making Thanksgiving dinner, it is the carving of the bird. It is a simple task, but when you are in front of the whole family, maybe the in-laws, and everyone expects that golden bird to turn into prefect slices, look out! Even the most experienced cook can crumble under pressure.

To help endure your lack of carving skills aren’t the talk of the dessert table, FoodSided is bringing you two videos from the Food Network’s Alton Brown on carving turkeys. Both are from the critically acclaimed, Good Eats, and both make me sad that the show no longer exists. Alton Brown is truly a culinary TV legend!  Good luck with your birds this Thanksgiving!
