We all know that the Super Bowl is the biggest sporting event in the world. However what most of us fail to realize is that it might be perhaps the largest food event in the world as well. Only Thanksgiving and maybe Christmas have such a strong connection to food. Face it, the Super Bowl is about three things: football, clever commercials, and eating as much as one human can possibly eat in a span of less than four hours.

There is no point in pretending you won’t be crushing as many chips, dips, slices, and wings as you do in the next four months combined. We all do it, and it’s ok, it’s American. The Super Bowl and food go together as well as peanut butter and jelly, but just how connected are these two things? Well, luckily for you, you are about to get a crash course in the marriage between the Super Bowl and food!
