Cider has grown in popularity. Even with the robust craft beer market and the rise of citrus beers, cider offers a light, crisp flavor. While cider can quite enjoyable on its own, as a cocktail ingredient, it is a delightful choice. The apple flavors add a hint of sweetness without becoming too sweet.

The key to a good cider cocktail is balance. While cider had a sweet note, the other ingredients need to balance that crisp, apple flavor. Acids from citrus offer a great counterbalance to the apple.
