Krispy Kreme poses the doughnut question, what is the Greataste Reese’s Doughnut of all Time?

Move over Original Glaze, Krispy Kreme is adding a new permanent doughnut to its tasty menu. Since fans are the ultimate doughnut connoisseur, the most important doughnut question must be answered. What is the Greataste Reese’s Doughnut of all Time?

Now, the question does not have a misspelled word (although that situation does happen on occasion). Truthfully, the iconic doughnut brand is asking its fans to answer a very difficult question. Which Reese’s doughnut should become part of the permanent line-up?

Starting on July 24, at participating locations, Krispy Kreme is bringing back three Reese’s doughnuts. They are the Classic Reese’s Doughnut, Reese’s Outrageous Doughnut and Reese’s Original Filled Chocolate Lovers Doughnut. While all three doughnuts are extremely tasty, there can be only one doughnut winner.

Fans are asked to share their “most creative doughnut reviews” on social media. From a simple haiku to an elaborate interpretative dance, it is time to show that doughnut creativity.

In August, one of these three Reese’s doughnuts will become a permanent menu item. Also, there will be a special offer accompanying that announcement. Just maybe, a free doughnut might be in your future.

Although everyone is entitled to their own opinion, personally I am voting for the Classic Reese’s Doughnut. The Reese’s Peanut Butter Kreme gets me every time. While the Hershey’s chocolate icing and mini peanut butter chips are tasty, it is all about that kreme.

The Reese’s Outrageous Doughnut is a close second, although it is quite sweet. This doughnut is more like a dessert. Then again, doughnuts can be enjoyed any time of day.

For Reese’s chocolate lovers fans, the Reese’s Original Filled Chocolate Lovers Doughnut is a nice flavor twist. It is very chocolate forward and sometimes that is a good thing.

If you are ready to take the ultimate doughnut taste test, head to your local Krispy Kreme starting on July 24. All the doughnut goodness might spark your creative side. Just think of the doughnut fun to be had on your social media accounts.
