They’ve taken over your for-you page, and now they are making their way into your pantry and refrigerator. More and more social media influencers are parlaying their online popularity into food and drink brands. From energy drinks to candy and cookies, here are 10-plus brands - in no particular order - from popular influencers.
1. G Fuel
Pewdie Pie has 110 million subscribers on YouTube with content ranging from gaming to reaction videos and vlogs. Pewdie Pie launched G Fuel in 2012 in an effort to make a healthy energy drink for gamers. The drinks are sugar free, gluten free and fortified with vitamins and antioxidants. 2. Prime Drinks
YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul launched Prime Hydration in 2022 in an effort to disrupt the sports drink market. Prime Hydration boasts the inclusion of coconut water, antioxidants and electrolytes. Prime Energy adds a kick of 200 mg per 12 ounce can. In the LA area, Prime is available at Food 4 Less, Kroger, 7-Eleven, CVS Pharmacy, and other local retailers. 4. Keith’s Hot Sauce
Keith Habersberger, a member of the Try Guys (7.9 million YouTube subscribers), is known for his Eat the Menu series on the channel where he tries a little bit of everything from popular restaurants. He launched his hot sauce brand, Keith’s Chicken Sauce, in 2019. Keith’s hot sauce also comes in burger sauce and taco sauce flavors. They are available to order at heatonist.com.
5. Feastables Chocolate
Mr. Beast has 400 million subscribers on YouTube and is known for his philanthropy and for paying big bucks for outrageous challenges such as “Men Vs. Women Survive in the Wilderness for $500,000.” He launched Feastables chocolate brand in 2022 billing it as having more natural ingredients; it features such flavors as milk crunch, peanut butter, almond, and cookies and creme. Gamer Pokimane has 6.6 million subscribers on YouTube and launched Myna Snacks in 2023 offering mini snacking cookies and pizza crackers. 7. Max Jerky
Max the Meat Guy has 7.5 million subscribers on YouTube where he teaches cooking techniques, tries exotic meats, tests food gadgets and ranks snacks, pizza and more. His inspiration for the brand stemmed from the limited jerky options during his years studying abroad in China. Oompaville has 5.69 subscribers on YouTube, where he does deep dives on news, conspiracies, and other social media influencers. Oompaville launched Sour Boys in 2021 and is very hands-on in the production and flavor development. The brand introduces new flavors every first of the month.
