After an emotional Sunday Supper episode, the last three chefs need to keep their head in the game. As the chefs head off to Aspen, Top Chef Season 15 episode 13 has a few quirks to keep the chefs off balance. Will the finale be a battle between the Joes or will Adrienne make it to the end?
According to Bravo, Top Chef Season 15 episode 13 features the following:
"Before the chefs can prepare the catch of the day, they must first actually catch it; the only thing standing between the chefs and the Grand Finale are 200 plates for the chefs and food connoisseurs attending the Food & Wine Classic."
Making the chefs catch a fish is a little ridiculous. Catching fish has nothing to do with being a good chef. Being able to butcher a fish correctly would make a lot of sense, but actual fishing is a television move. Of course, this move puts the chefs off balance, which is part of being on Top Chef.

The elimination challenge is a hard one. Cooking for a food festival isn’t an easy task. Food festivals don’t always showcase a chef’s best dish. These plates need to be conducive for large crowds, quick preparation and easy plating. Of course, great tasting food is a must. Still, a food festival can be quite nerve racking.
The added element of cooking for other famous chefs is another wrinkle. While most chefs can produce a delicious, beautiful dish in the confines of her restaurant’s kitchen. With celebrity chefs watching her every move, anyone could get flustered.
It is unclear if any of these three remaining chefs have food festival experience. The one who has worked a food festival should have an advantage. Then again, nothing has been predictable in this season of Top Chef Colorado.
