Chipotle new Lifestyle Bowls are diet-driven menu items. From Keto to Whole30, these new menu items could help anyone keep that diet on track.

Need another reason to visit Chipotle? To kick off the New Year, the brand is launching its first ever diet-driven menu items. With four new Lifestyle Bowls added to the menu, there is no excuse to cheat on that New Year’s Resolution.

According to Chipotle, the new diet-driven menu items are:

"Whole30® Salad Bowl: Romaine lettuce, carnitas, fajita veggies, tomato salsa and guacamolePaleo Salad Bowl: Romaine lettuce, barbacoa, fajita veggies, green salsa and guacamoleKeto Salad Bowl: Romaine lettuce, carnitas, red salsa, cheese and guacamoleDouble Protein Bowl: White rice, black beans, chicken (full portion), steak (full portion), red salsa, romaine lettuce and sour cream"

These new menu items reflect some custom items that customer previously created on their own. For many lifestyle eating choices, the regime requires strict adherence to certain foods and ratios. These specific bowls were created with those eating choices in mind. The four new menu items are “exclusively available through the mobile app and on the Chipotle website for in-restaurant pickup or delivery.”

It is curious that these Lifestyle Bowls aren’t being promoted in the restaurants themselves. Even for people who aren’t following a particular diet, they might prefer these bowl combinations. While these bowls were created specifically for these program parameters, other people might enjoy these flavor and ingredient combinations.

This new menu launch could bring guests back to Chipotle. Last year, the brand had many struggles. By trying to cater to specific eating lifestyles, the brand makes it convenient for consumers to choose this restaurant over other options.

More and more large scale brands are looking to capitalize on healthier eating option. Carl’s Jr. just announced its partnership with Beyond Meat. It makes the brand the largest company to date to offer the plant-based, meat alternative on the menu.

As more and more consumers demand healthier options, these type of menu launches will become more common. Making healthy eating convenient is wanted by consumers. Today’s busy lifestyles demand it.
