Winner Cake All preview: Guy’s Grocery Games episode
On this week’s episode of Winner Cake All, Guy’s Grocery Games requests an epic confectionary creation for a big episode. Which team earns the victory?
Winner Cake All looks to a cross-over episode for this week’s cake challenge. Guy’s Grocery Games, the popular Food Network competition show, needs a celebratory cake. Will the teams have to adhere to Guy’s cake rules or will they be able to flex their confectionary creativity?
According to the Food Network, this week’s Winner Cake All episode synopsis, “Guy’s Grocery Cakes,” states:
"Giada De Laurentiis challenges the baking teams to create a cake decoration that looks like their favorite celebratory feast; after one team is sent home, the three remaining teams get a message from their VIP client, Guy Fieri."
Looking at this synopsis, the idea of a cake decoration with a celebratory feast could be almost anything. While it shouldn’t necessarily be a holiday (that was a previous episode), this idea is quite broad. Some people might love a big barbecue for a celebratory feast. Other people might prefer an elegant meal. It will be curious to see the teams’ direction.

Thinking about their VIP client, Guy Fieri, the cake could be almost anything. While Fieri has his own 7-layer Chocolate Whiskey Cake recipe, this cake might be totally different. Truthfully, it would be nice for Winner Cake All to feature a different flavor, than chocolate. Even though some people find vanilla boring, something other than chocolate would be a good change.
Since this week’s episode is for a Guy’s Grocery Games episode, could the cakes feature some of the favorite challenges from the series? Maybe one of the teams could make a grocery cart, preferably with some flames. Also, a nice reference to triple G would be good. Maybe there could be three layers with “G” references.
