DEW-DEW…builds the anticipation. You know those opening notes to the Game of Thrones main title song, just not like this version.
Building on its collaboration, MTN DEW has reimagined the Game of Thrones main title song. With the help form a long list of stars and MTN DEW fans, this new verse will have you raising a Can With No Name and counting the hours to the April 14 premiere.
Game of Thrones fans are quite familiar with those iconic first few notes. The sounds are almost a battle cry of anticipation of the next chapter of chaos. Just like any worthy battle, music can set the tone, the rhythm and the path for a successful pursuit to the throne.
While MTN DEW has made the ultimate sacrifice in its pursuit of the throne, the extremely popular beverage with strong ties to pop culture wasn’t stopping with removing its brand face. In this just released video, MTN DEW called on some of its other collaborators for a little help with a reimagined Game of Thrones main title song verse.

From a gamer to an athlete and a household name to an up and comer, everyone can bond over a particular fandom. In this case, the bond is two-fold, MTN DEW and Game of Thrones. Fandoms bring people together.
While everyone is joining the Game of Thrones premiere excitement, MTN DEW shouldn’t stop with this promotion. Think about the many other iconic songs that could be reimagined with DEW DEW…. MTN DEW. Pop culture cross-over promotions are important for companies to stay relevant. In this case, MTN DEW never truly loses its identity or branding in the Game of Thrones crossover.
