Starting Monday, September 14, the Chick-Fil-A Chocolate Fudge Brownie will hit menus nationwide, where guests can enjoy the decadent treat, which comes individually wrapped (there is also a tray option for parties, perfect for tailgating at home while watching football on TV).
There are semi-sweet chocolate melted into the batter, along with chunks of fudge, so this will be an incredibly rich dessert you might want to split with a friend.
There is also a limited-time Mocha Cream Cold Brew if the Chocolate Fudge Brownie sounds like too much of a good thing. This seasonal drink consists of cold brew coffee, creamer and chocolate syrup served over ice, which sounds like a very good thing as well.
“We are always looking to add fun and flavorful offerings to our menu, and these new dessert and snack options make perfect additions as we enter the fall season,” Leslie Neslage, director of menu and packaging at Chick-Fil-A, said in a press release.
“We received positive responses when we tested the Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Mocha Cream Cold Brew in select markets last year, and we hope our customers will be as excited as we are to have these sweet treats join our menu nationwide.”
Chick-Fil-A had a delicious brownie for years that was coated in a slight layer of icing and a hefty amount of walnuts, with additional walnut bits inside, but that was unfortunately discontinued about eight or 10 years ago, which was a colossal disappointment as far as I (Wesley) was concerned, since I grew up with them.
True, the Chocolate Chip Cookies that replaced them are amazing as well, but it just wasn’t quite the same.
The new Chocolate Fudge Brownie looks to have more of a homemade-style crispy top, which could balance well with the dense chewiness of the main part of the brownie.
A new blend of THRIVE Farmers Hot Coffee will also be introduced, which is described as having a a hint of caramel with a nutty finish, consisting of a custom blend of coffee beans from Central and South America. It is suggested to pair with Chick-Fil-A’s breakfast items, which could provide a nice mix of protein, carbs and caffeine to start the day with.
