The Busch Crewmaster position could put you on Kevin Harvick’s title-winning NASCAR Cup Series team.

This will be a paid position with Stewart-Haas Racing ($50,000 salary) as a member of the No. 4 team, and the team member will attend races throughout the season, training and traveling with the rest of the SHR crew and be responsible for various duties.

This position was inspired by the upcoming Netflix sitcom The Crew, which stars Kevin James (Here Comes the Boom, The King of Queens, Paul Blart Mall Cop) as the crew chief of a fictional backmarker Cup Series team, in a series that has heavy cooperation from NASCAR itself and features various real-world driver cameos.

The Crew will drop its first season on Monday, February 15, and also stars Gary Anthony Williams (Boston Legal, Malcolm in the Middle). Freddie Stroma (Bridgerton, Unreal), Dan Ahdoot (Cobra Kai), and Broadway actress Sarah Stiles.

Fans 21 years and up will be able to virtually apply during the telecast of the 2021 Daytona 500 (Sunday, February 21 at 2:30 p.m. ET on Fox), where trivia questions will be asked on the broadcast and on the Busch Twitter account. Based on their answers, which are tweeted using the hashtags #TheCrew and #BuschContest, viewers may move forward into the next round of the interview process.

Busch Crewmaster position will make a fan part of the team.

“We love creating these unique NASCAR opportunities for fans to get involved with both the sport and our brand,” Daniel Blake, Vice President of Value Brands at Anheuser-Busch, said in a press release. “No one has ever conducted an interview during the Daytona 500 or given a fan a shot at joining a driver’s racing crew for the season, and we’re hoping to find an amazing candidate to join our NASCAR family with this once-in-a-lifetime job.”

Busch Beer is the official beer of NASCAR, and see the Busch website for more details on the Busch Crewmaster position.

Kevin Harvick unexpectedly joined the NASCAR Cup Series following the tragic 2001 Daytona 500, piloting the renumbered No. 29 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing for over a decade before joining SHR in 2014 in what was essentially a trade between the organizations, as he and Ryan Newman basically switched rides.

Harvick won the 2014 NASCAR Cup Series championship, and throughout his career has racked up 58 race wins, 32 stage wins, 31 poles, 226 top fives, 389 top 10s in 719 starts with 15,565 laps led.

During the 2020 season, Harvick racked up nine race wins (a full quarter of the schedule), seven stage wins, 20 top fives, 27 top 10s with 1,531 laps led.

The No. 4 Ford Mustang boasts a numerous amount of food and beverage-related sponsorships, appearing in the colors of Busch/Busch Light, Jimmy John’s sandwiches and Hunt Brothers Pizza throughout the season.

Additionally, SHR teammates Aric Almirola and Cole Custer represent Smithfield meat products and Dixie Vodka on their No. 10 and No. 41 Mustangs, respectively. (All full-time drivers in SHR history have been sponsored by a food or beverage at some point, which is an impressive streak.)
