In 1999, Mike’s Hard Lemonade hit stores. Long before people buzzed about hard seltzer, the lemonade flavored beverage quickly became a favorite for people who preferred a malt beverage that wasn’t beer. Over the years, Mike’s Hard Lemonade has continued to be a refreshing beverage option. From the classic lemonade to combination flavors, there was always a reason to enjoy one.

The new Mike’s Hard Lemonade Seltzer looks to the bright, refreshing classic lemonade taste to entice drinkers to take a sip. According to the brand, this beverage has a “proprietary blend of three specialty lemon varietals.” That lemon trifecta offers a crisp finish.

Why is Mike’s Hard Lemonade Seltzer a sip above the rest?

For John Shea, chief marketing officer, Mike’s Hard Lemonade Co, the reasoning why this beverage offering is different is simple. Shea said, “Other companies do other things, Mike’s makes lemonade.” For 21 years, the brand has “perfected” the “best-tasting hard lemonades.” With this offering, the goal is to have the “best tasting hard lemonade seltzer.”

Sold in a 12-pack, variety pack, the new beverage will be available in four flavors, Lemon, Strawberry, Mango and Pineapple. While the lemon and strawberry flavors might have been expected, the pineapple flavor could be the most popular option in the variety pack.

The Mike’s Hard Lemonade Seltzer is “100 calories, 1 gram of sugar, and gluten free.” It is available at retailers nationwide now.
