Chipotle is Honoring Healthcare Heroes with Free Burritos

Paging Dr. Meredith Grey — *code free food* Chipotle is giving away 250,000 FREE burritos to nurses and healthcare workers. Healthcare heroes have always been the hidden gems and this past year they’ve worked around the clock saving lives while we stayed at home binge watching Tiger King, The Queen’s Gambit, The Crown, Bridgerton and so much more. Sure, we stepped out at 7 pm to give them a big round of applause, but if anyone deserves free food, it’s the healthcare professionals!

Starting on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 10am PT/1pm ET, healthcare heroes will have to sign themselves up for the freebie HERE. To receive this free offer,  “all healthcare professionals will have to show proof of eligibility using ID.me and a copy of an employee ID or other information is required.”

Healthcare professionals, be sure to have all your materials ready because you’ll have to act fast! This promotion is a first come, first serve basis and is capped at a total of 250,000 codes.

A Wall of Gratitude 

Also, just ahead of National Nurses Day (May 6), Chipotle wants you to dedicate a “thank you” to your local medical professionals, which will live on a virtual wall of gratitude.

All you have to do is comment and tag your healthcare hero on one of Chipotle’s social posts — Instagram, Facebook or TikTok — that speaks to this campaign and they will pull your thanks on their live wall.

There’s even more good news with the E-Gift Card Program Donation.According to the press release, beginning April 28 and running through May 9, Chipotle will also match 10 percent of a ‘special’ digital gift card purchase and donate the funds to the American Nurses Foundation, part of the American Nurses Association.

So even if you don’t work in healthcare, you can still show your token of appreciation to the medical community.
