Raise your hand if you’ve become your favorite barista while working from home? (Insert hand raise here). Well, now your at home coffee station is about to get even fancier because Starbucks is finally selling instant coffee so your dalgona coffee is about to get an upgrade!

As many consumers turned to instant coffee during the pandemic, words cannot ‘espresso’ how much this means to many Americans. No more going up and down the grocery store aisle searching for Starbucks instant coffee to realize that Starbucks instant coffee does not exist, until now.

The Starbucks Coffee at Home line is introducing premium instant coffee available in three flavors, Medium Roast, Dark Roast, and Blonde Roast, just like what you can order in cafes.

The instant coffee is available at groceries stores nationwide and online for an SRP of $9.99 for a 3.17 oz canister. That is actually 40 cups of coffee for $10. What a bargain! We already found it on Instacart in case you wanted to click and order now.

According to the Starbucks newsroom, “daily coffee habits have changed, with 85 percent of coffee drinkers having at least one cup at home (up 8 percent since January 2020) and more than 40 percent of Americans are buying types of coffee they had never tried before during the pandemic.”

Starbucks has to be tracking my sales at Target because I’m definitely part of that 40 percent bracket that is trying new coffee, which I never would have if we weren’t working from home.

Not an instant coffee fan? That’s ok! Starbucks offers tons of coffee at home products that you can still try as you are perfecting your barista skills.

A personal favorite to try at home is Starbucks’ ready made cold brew which you can add to small cubed ice and top off with a splash of their Starbucks creamer. It’s exactly if you were to order it from your local cafe.

So how exactly is this different from Starbucks VIA Instant? The difference between the new instant coffee and Starbucks VIA Instant is that VIA Instant is pre-portioned into single-serve packets so you can make your coffee from anywhere and on the go.

The new Starbucks Instant Coffee is a little more realistic as so many of us are still working from home and can likely get more cups of coffee out of the tin rather than using the packets.

Think you’ll give instant coffee a taste? It’s really not bad. You might even switch to this method forever.
