The One with the FREE Nestlé ‘Toulouse’

After 17 years, Friends is finally returning to screen and the whole gang is back together for the most anticipated reunion yet. Could we be any more excited? Mark your calendars because The Friends reunion, called “The One Where They Get Back Together,” will start streaming on HBO Max on Thursday, May 27, 2021.

In honor of the reunion, Nestle Toll House is getting in on the fun and gearing up for the big day as an ode to “The One with Phoebe’s Cookies.”

Quick Recap of the Iconic Episode -*Spoiler alert.* Monic and Chandler are newly engaged and the group is trying to top one another with the best presents.

Monica being the overachiever that she is really wants Phoebe’s grandmother’s chocolate chip cookie recipe (so she can make the best chocolate chip cookies for her future kids), but Phoebe’s grandmother made her promise to never let the recipe out of the family.

Phoebe eventually caves and gives Monica the recipe, but because of Phoebe’s apartment fire, the recipe was destroyed, so she gave Monica and Chandler the only cookie she had left in her freezer as an engagement present. The frozen cookie was from a batch that she had made and froze months ago.

Batch after batch, Monica tries to figure out the recipe from the cookie by taste testing it; but the group eventually gives up after not being able to figure out what was missing.

Monica then asks Phoebe if her grandma’s friends know the recipe, in which Phoebe says that her grandmother got the recipe from her French grandmother, “Nestle Toulouse”.

This clearly makes Monica realize that Phoebe’s grandmother got the recipe from a bag of Nestle Toll House cookies!
