Make your cocktails blush with rosé wine on National Rosé Day
By Becky Ellis
National Rosé Day is on Saturday, June 12, 2021. Have fun celebrating with your favorite bottle of rosé wine then add rosé to your cocktails to make them blush!
Let’s start this fun flirty National Rosé Day party with a blushing spritz! A bit of fizz is always a welcome sight in the hot hot summertime. We’ll make our spritz with FIOL Rosé. This new pink prosecco is made with the “finest Glera (85%) and Pinot Noir (15%) grapes from Treviso, Italy.” Lovely “fruity aromas of raspberry and wild strawberry and hints of citrus lemon fruits and white flowers. On the palate, FIOL Rosé has familiar notes of pear and apple dancing in the glass, while the Pinot Noir shines through, resulting in a harmonious palate with a persistent finish.”
The new FIOL Rosé retails at $18.99 and can easily ship right to your doorstep via the brand’s new online store, ShopFiol.com + at select retailers.

Love to cool off with popsicles in the heat of the summer? Connect with your inner child and make rosé popsicles! Chilled Magazine shares a recipe for rosé popsicles – a frozen blend of rosé wine, lemon juice, simple syrup, soda water and strawberry puree.
Elderflower is a good friend to rosé, especially when citrus juices join the party. Elderflower liqueur adds a fresh floral elegance to citrusy cocktails. The Pink French 75 Cocktail is the perfect combination of Elderflower and citrus flavors. Fun and festive! Elderflower liqueur, vodka (or gin), freshly squeezed lemon juice and sparkling rosé. Doesn’t that sound refreshing?
What is your favorite rosé cocktail? What will you be sipping on National Rosé Day?
