Flame Broiler adds bold new item to their menu
Flame Broiler is spicing up its menu offering more healthier food options with bold flavors. Fast food restaurants come in handy when you’re in a hurry, on the road constantly, or too lazy to cook. The Korean-inspired restaurant Flame Broiler believes fast food doesn’t always have to be unhealthy. While the majority of their menu items are meat with rice bowls, they’re switching it up and adding the low-carb Spring and Sprout Salad!
Customers’ taste buds will tingle when they taste the fresh medley of leafy greens, shredded carrots, green onion, and soybean sprouts and choice of protein (chicken, beef, half & half, or tofu). Sounds delicious right? Better act fast because this salad is only available for a limited time. Price starts at $7.90 at participating locations.
The founder of Flame Broiler had a vision and made it happen
The idea for the Flame Broiler restaurant came to fruition after founder Young Lee graduated from UCLA with a degree in economics. Being on the road so much he didn’t have many options besides eating fast food, that’s when he realized the need for healthier options. What better way to do it than to take matters into your own hands? In 1995 the first restaurant opened in Orange County, CA selling Korean-style meat and rice bowls with vegetables.
Thanks to franchising this business have gotten much bigger. Today there are over 180 and counting Flame Broiler restaurants sprawling over California, Arizona, Florida, Nevada, and Oklahoma. Not only does Lee provide healthy meals for those on the go, but he also gives back to the community. For each restaurant that opens he sponsors two children in need. A total of 338 children have been sponsored.
