As the competition on Top Chef Houston heats up, Talenti Pairings is looking to bring a little sweetness to the kitchen. In an upcoming episode, the Top Chef Quickfire will be inspired by the Talenti. Which chef will capture that maximum flavor in a single bite?

In a previous season, Talenti asked the chefs to create a layered dessert. That winning dessert inspired a flavor that became part of the brand’s offerings. Who didn’t like the layers of creaminess, crunch, and flavor.

While the Top Chef episode is called Texas trailblazer-hers, the Quickfire Challenge is all about the sweet and savory dessert. With 45 minutes to create this dish, the chefs need to appreciate that the ample time allows them to develop flavor.

For example, according to Talenti, the brand cooks its ingredients in milk and cream for 45 minutes. That slow process allows all the flavors to be extracted. Since the brand believes that there are no shortcuts to making the best gelatos and sorbettos, the process might be time consuming, but it is totally worth it.

That concept is front and center with the Talenti Pairings line. Since the flavors are inspired by chefs, mixologists and dessert experts, the line pushes the frozen dessert conversation in a new way. It is more than just another scoop. It is about finding the perfect combinations of sweet, savory, crunchy, smooth to create the most satisfying taste.

As seen with the current offerings, like Salted Chocolate Churro, Caramel Pretzel Blondie, Strawberry Margarita and Bourbon Fudge Brownie, each one blends the familiar with the new. Each new offering brings excitement to the food conversation.

With the upcoming Top Chef Quickfire Challenge, fans will be waiting to discover the winning dessert. And, just maybe that offering will inspire a new flavor in the Talenti Pairings line. Better make sure that your spoon is ready.

Top Chef Houston airs on Bravo Thursday nights at 8 p.m. ET. It can also be streamed on Peacock.
