Mountain Dew partners with a new wingman on a tasty summer adventure

Although some iconic movie moments have brought back that loving feeling, the bond between wingmen last far longer than that rousing chorus. This summer, Mountain Dew has a new wingman sitting at the table. Ready to get a little saucy and enjoy some Hooters wings?

Finding the right beverage to pair with those iconic wings is a quest that many foodies are willing to take. Even if a particular cola seemingly goes with every food, some people prefer a bolder option. Luckily Mountain Dew is ready to pop open a can of the citrus forward refreshment.

To kick off June, Hooters will be hosting Wingman Wednesday. On June 1, there’s a tasty special at the iconic wing restaurant. Guests can get receive 10 boneless wings with the purchase of 10 wings. The offer is available at 300+ Hooters locations.

According to Bruce Skala, Hooters of America senior vice president of marketing, “As the original American wing joint, we’re ecstatic to partner with MTN DEW to reward fans of Hooters wings with the opportunity to experience new adventures with their buddy. Our fans displayed the ultimate wingman mentality by showing tremendous support for Hooters during the pandemic. This collaboration allows us to return the favor and satisfy their cravings, whether it’s enjoying our world-famous wings, MTN DEW or memorable trips with a best friend.”

In addition to the food special on June 1, guests can get a special collectible, MTN DEW “wingman cup.” Available while supplies last, the cup showcases the DEW x Hooters Wingman Weekend Sweepstakes. Up for grabs are a variety of prizes that will make any dynamic duo create an even greater bond. From a fishing trip to Florida to revving the engines in Bristol to the ultimate high roller experience in Las Vegas, it will be filled with memories for a lifetime.
