While the menu has a plethora of cheesecake flavors, The Cheesecake Factory is never afraid to add another option. Ahead of National Cheesecake Day, the beloved restaurant is taking a trip to Spain for the newest offering. Hungry for a slice of Classic Basque Cheesecake?

Many people crave over the top desserts. While the classic New York Style Cheesecake will never be replaced, the candy infused, cacophony of flavors often receive the most attention. Even if only a bite or two suffices, the reality is that the big show can make a huge impression.

When The Cheesecake Factory has introduced new flavors, many people wait to see what candy or other dessert influenced that sweetness. Whether it was Snickers inspired caramel or a new cookie crust, there was no way for a guest to say no to ordering dessert.

According to David Overton, Founder and CEO of The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated, the newest cheesecake flavor takes the menu in a new direction. “It’s a completely different style of cheesecake than my mother’s Original recipe, and we are looking forward to adding it to our menu.”

For the newest dessert offering, the flavor is more subdued and invites guests to take a little journey. From San Sebastian Spain, Basque Cheesecake is a crustless cheesecake. The crustless cheesecake almost looks burnt, but the luscious, creamy center invites bite after bite. The slightly burnt notes adds to the caramelized flavors which contrasts the sweet custard.

This classic version is served with fresh berries and whipped cream. Even if that favorite cheesecake flavor calls, it is good to deviate every once and a while.

To celebrate the newest cheesecake flavor and National Cheesecake Day, the popular restaurant is bringing back its annual Feeding America fundraiser. On National Cheesecake Day, July 30, 2022, The Cheesecake Factory will donate $1 for any cheesecake slice sold to Feeding America.

Also, the new Classic Basque Cheesecake will continue the Feeding America fundraiser. When a guest purchases that slice, the restaurant brand will donate 25 cents to Feeding America. This fundraiser runs from July 31, 2022 through July 29, 2023.
