Red Lobster adds Lobster and Shrimp Tacos for Lobsterfest

Love is in the air for lobster lovers because Red Lobster Lobsterfest is back. For this year’s celebration, the annual restaurant event adds some new menu items including Lobster and Shrimp Tacos. Whether it is Taco Tuesday or any day, there is a tempting taste waiting to be enjoyed.

Every year, Lobsterfest is a huge event for Red Lobster. While there are always fan favorite menu items that call to guests, the new offerings make a second or third visit necessary.

As Patty Trevino, Chief Marketing Officer at Red Lobster said, “For this year’s Lobsterfest, we’ve created a menu that’s perfect for both the already lob-sessed as well as those looking to expand their love of lobster. The multiple ways we are offering lobster this year will satisfy any craving, and you can even add some variety by pairing shrimp or steak with it. Lobster lovers won’t want to miss this year’s event.”

One of the new Lobsterfest menu items is the Lobster and Shrimp Tacos. Featuring Maine and Norway lobster and shrimp, the succulent seafood is served crispy. Combined with jalapeno slaw, pico de gallo, and lime crema, it hits all the flavor profiles. Plus, the three tacos are the perfect size to even enjoy an extra Cheddar Bay Biscuit.

In addition to the new Lobster and Shrimp Tacos, Lobsterfest is adding a Lobster and Shrimp topped Sirloin. The over the top surf and turf option is for a hearty appetite. From the sweet Maine lobster to the creamy parmesan-bacon shrimp, the sirloin is the perfect vehicle for the seafood extravaganza.

These two menu options join fan favorites like Lobster Lover’s Dream, Maine Lobster Tail Duo, and Bar Harbor Lobster Bake. Of course, there are always plenty of Cheddar Bay Biscuits served with every meal.

What new Lobsterfest beverages pair perfectly with the Lobster and Shrimp Tacos?

Since every great meal deserves a beverage pairing, two new Lobsterfest beverages are making guests thirsty. The new Berry Sunset Lobsterita is a sweet and tart option that is a twist on a traditional margarita. The frozen cocktail combines Sauza Gold Tequila with raspberry and strawberry puree. It is the perfect start to any meal.

For a bolder flavor, the Passion Fruit Lobsterita features Monin Passion Fruit Puree. When contrasted with the tangy lime rim, it is bright and refreshing. It might become a favorite twist on the margarita.

Of course, for anyone who likes the Classic Lobsterita, it is on the menu too. That cocktail is available in Traditional, Strawberry, Peach, Raspberry, or Mango and can be enjoyed on the rocks or frozen.
