According to the Food Network, Comeback Kitchen: Food Delivery, Reimagined synopsis states the following.

"For the Mentor Challenge, the competitors must create something new using the ingredients of bizarre vintage dishes; for the Star Challenge, the contestants divide into two teams to plan and create a menu for delivery."

Food Network loves the reimagined food concept. Vintage dishes can be quite inspiring. Making the old new again is part of enjoying food. Old doesn’t mean boring. Sometimes those vintage dishes can be more exciting that current food trends.

As for the Star Challenge, the idea of food delivery in this competition is a curious one. Food delivery is a difficult concept. A traditional plated dish may not work for delivery. No one wants soggy food, muddled flavors or other disasters.

Also, the flavors for delivery is different than those for a restaurant. Do people order pizza and Chinese food for deliver or do people order a steak? Carefully planning a menu is key to this challenge.

Lastly, since this Star Challenge is a team challenge, the competitors will have to work together. In most culinary competitions, team challenge showcase dueling personalities. The team that can work together best will definitely have an advantage.
