Food is everything to foodies. And the 5 TV characters below are true foodie goals!

There are TV characters who sit down for a chat not touching their food or walk away without finishing their meal, and then there are TV foodies! Because, what’s up with ignoring the food? We love to see realistic characters devouring real food. From an always-hungry Sesame Street Monster to the one ‘Friend’ who never shares food, here are five TV foodies we all aspire to be…

But before we dig into the top five, let’s give a shout to the three runner-ups who almost made it: Leslie Knope from Parks & Recreation, Monica Geller from Friends, and Liz Lemon from 30 Rock.

#5 Cookie Monster

Cookie Monster needs to be reminded to eat his fruits and vegetables, or else his diet would only consist of freshly baked cookies.

#4 Homer Simpson

Much like Sesame Street’s Cookie Monster, Homer Simpson specializes in sweets. But Homer enjoys more than cookies — he’ll take anything, really. His weakness, however? Donuts, of course!

#3 Scooby-Doo and Shaggy

Shaggy needs to give us his secrets on how to eat so much yet remain so thin! From scooby-snacks to enormous sandwiches, Scooby and Shaggy’s love for food is so great, they’re willing to face a ghost for it.

#2 Chef Ramsay

This list was intended for fictional TV characters, but Chef Gordon Ramsay is a foodie legend! With so many shows he has gifted the world, how can we deny him a spot? From Kitchen Nightmares, Hell’s Kitchen, and Masterchef Junior, Ramsay has increased our love for food and never fails to make our mouths water.

#1 Joey Tribbiani

Friends’ Joey Tribbiani loves food so much, he rather have a delicious meal than a hot date. And can we blame him? Food over everything! And we’re pretty sure that’s Joey’s motto. Throughout the series, Joey devoured many pizzas, sandwiches, and more. He also constantly raided Monica’s fridge. And to all the haters we say, “I’m curvy and I like it!”
