Ready for the Outrageous DQ Blizzard? Reese’s Outrageous is coming to the iconic Blizzard and fans have their red spoons ready.

Are you ready for an Outrageous DQ Blizzard? The flavors of the delicious Reese’s Outrageous are coming to a Blizzard. Can you handle the outrageous combination of Reese’s peanut butter goodness and vanilla soft serve? Only your growling stomach can answer that question.

As summer fades into fall, Dairy Queen is enticing ice cream fans with another delicious Blizzard flavor. The new Outrageous DQ Blizzard joins the delicious line-up of ice cream and topping mix-ins. This particular flavor recreates the Reese’s Outrageous bar flavors, but doesn’t actually chop up pieces of the bar itself. Still, if you love these flavor combinations, this frozen treat is a must try.

One of the most intriguing aspects of this DQ treat is that the Blizzard uses warm sweet caramel. Everyone knows that a warm candy bar isn’t the best option. In this Blizzard, the warm caramel should be quite delightful. Who doesn’t love finding a pocket of gooey, sweet caramel swirled into the ice cream?

  • While Oreo always seems to be the favorite DQ Blizzard, this newest offering could give it a run for its money. The salty and sweet notes from the Reese’s peanut butter cups and Reese’s Pieces can be quite addicting. Personally, that combination of chocolate and peanut butter is one of my favorite candy combinations because it isn’t too sweet, yet is totally satisfies.

Also, using the vanilla ice cream makes for a good balanced bite. Chocolate ice cream would make the dessert too sweet. Although it might be nice to offer this dessert in a royal version, where the center would be warm caramel and the other mix-ins surrounded it.

Lastly, DQ is offering a huge deal for users of the DQ app. After downloading and registering, app users can receive an “offer for a free small Blizzard Treat deal.” Who doesn’t want a free frozen treat?
