"The cooks split into two teams and must serve 100 dishes to airmen in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the March Air Reserve Base; the contestants learn they will be competing in the Tag Team Challenge."

During the last big team challenge, the teams seemed to falter under the pressure. It will be interesting to see how the teams are chosen. If the teams have clashing personalities, the food might not be the best. Harmony in the kitchen produces better dishes than discord.

Since this week’s episode is two hours long, the second part of the competition could bring even more fireworks. A tag team challenge could see tempers rise in the kitchen. Some the cooks have better skills than others. Depending on the skills needed for the challenge, a few cooks could rise to the top.

With the season about half-way over, a front-runner hasn’t quite emerged. Some cooks have gone from top cooks one week to facing elimination in another week. Even though Gordon’s team still has the most cooks, it doesn’t mean one of this cooks will earn the title. Could Aaron or Joe have made a smarter decision?

Could this week’s episode see a front-runner or runners emerge? Maybe this team challenge and tag team event could show the leadership that a MasterChef winner needs. Sometimes the food on the plate is only one ingredient to cooking success.
