Chick-fil-A adds Waffle Potato Chips to its regular menu
Chick-fil-A entices fans to run, not walk, to get one of its new menu items. Waffle Potato Chips have come to the regular menu and you can’t resist them.
Need another reason to stop at Chick-fil-A? The popular restaurant company announced new menu items today. While pumpkin spice might not have made the menu, a catering favorite now has a spot on the regular menu. Are you ready to try some Waffle Potato Chips?
Previously only available on the catering menu, Waffle Potato Chips are “kettle-cooked waffle cut chips.” These chips are an alternative to the traditional Waffle Fries. Also, these chips are gluten-free. The new side can be paired with any entrée, Kids Meal or just enjoyed by itself. There is nothing wrong with chips and lemonade as a snack.

Hail Florida Hail
The Waffle Potato Chips are just one of three new regular menu items. Additionally, Chick-fil-A improved its fruit cup and added a 30-count nugget option. For busy families or large appetites, the 30-count nugget option is smart. Personally, with two boys in sports, a 30-count nugget meal would quickly be scarfed down after a swim practice. This menu option is definitely a smart choice for families.
The improved fruit cup was a direct response to consumers’ requests. Now, the fruit cup features more premium fruit and less apple. While the apple does offer a nice texture component to the fruit cup, the addition of more strawberries, blueberries and mandarin oranges offers a better balance of flavors.
These three new regular menu items will be available starting on August 27. Additional new catering menu items, Grilled Chicken Bundle and Spicy Chilled Grilled Chicken Sub Sandwich, were also announced.
