A few characters haunt Halloween nightmares. In Halloween Wars Season 8 episode 2, two classic Halloween characters, clowns and zombies, are ready to haunt Food Network fans sweet dreams. Which team will create a crypt worthy scene?
According to the Food Network, this week’s Halloween Wars episode synopsis states:
"Five remaining teams go into battle to create Halloween themed displays that depict an epic face-off between clowns and zombies; special guest judge John Kassir, voice of the Crypt Keeper on the TV series “Tales from the Crypt.“"
It will be interesting to see if the teams have to choose clowns, zombies or potentially zombie clowns. If the scene has to be a battle, the teams need to determine which character is the winner. It will be interesting to see the how many teams choose one character over another.

For the bakers, clowns could offer a more colorful display. The key will be to keep the clowns more toward the creepy design than a happy, friendly clown. Even though some people are scared of clowns no matter what, the darker, more sinister clown should be the focus of this display.
As for the zombies, the key with these characters will be coloring. Everyone knows that zombies are the walking dead. Still, the teams need to make sure that the zombies’ coloring isn’t muddled. Proper highlighting and shading will be quite important.
In the Halloween Wars Season 8 premiere, the Candied Cadavers won both challenges last week. This team has shown that it will be a force in this competition. Part of the reason why this team excelled was its sugar work. Can this team continue its success?
