Halloween Wars Season 8 finale will be the episode to watch this season. While the teams have conquered time change and even remaking witches’ brooms, this finale challenge will test the teams greatly. Who will earn the coveted title of Halloween Wars Champion?

According to the Food Network, this week’s episode, Outbreak, features the following:

"The final two teams face off in one last epic showdown; the team that can best illustrate a terrifying worldwide and the race for an antidote will be crowned the champions; actress and horror culture icon LeeAnna Vamp serves as guest judge."

This synopsis shared a slightly different twist to the normal Halloween display on Halloween Wars. By making the display include an antidote, the display might have a less scary component. Usually, these displays are quite dark. Could the antidote be bring some light or levity?

Another option is that the “antidote” is the tasting element for the display. Throughout the season, the tasting element has been quite disappointing. The crickets grossed out the judges, the cookies had salt, and the other bites weren’t even memorable. Can one of the final teams create a tasting element that can impress?

Thinking about the two final teams, Zesty Zombies and Candied Cadavers, either team could win. Throughout the season, these two teams have clearly been the leaders. The other teams just couldn’t be as creative.

For Zesty Zombies, the key will be teamwork. While Lenny, their pumpkin carver, is clearly a huge asset, he can’t do everything. Their sugar artist, Shelby, can get flustered. If everyone can work together calmly, they can do well.

As for Candied Cadavers, this team needs more from its pumpkin carver. While their cake and sugar displays are quite impressive, the pumpkin elements have been just ok. They need the pumpkin display to be bigger and bolder.

Overall, this Halloween Wars Season 8 has been a good one. The themes have been interesting and many of the displays have had interesting elements. A few of the items, like the big red balloon, will become part of the highlight reel for years to come.
