6 Veterans Day deals that you and your family shouldn’t miss

Veterans Day is a time to honor the brave men, women and families who have served our country. In addition to these deals, don’t forget to thank a veteran.

November 11 is Veterans Day. While everyone should stop and take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices made by service men, women and their families, some business are offering special deals for the holiday. Although a free meal is just a small token of gratitude, it is a nice way to celebrate the veterans in our lives.

Here are a few Veterans Day deals.

Romano’s Macaroni Grill
On Sunday, November 11 at all Romano’s Macaroni Grill locations, veterans and active military can enjoy a free Mom’s Ricotta Meatballs + Spaghetti. To receive this free meal, guests need to show a military ID or proof of service.

This meal is quite hearty and delicious. The house made meatball features beef, veal, pork and ricotta. The meatball is then topped with Pomodorina sauce and served over spaghetti. It will definite curb a hungry appetite.

    • Fogo de Chão
    The leading Brazilian steakhouse, Fogo de Chão, will celebrate the military all weekend long. From Friday, November 9 through Sunday, November 11, veterans and active duty personnel will receive 50% off their entire meal. Additionally, up to three guests will receive 10% off their meal as well.

    Boston Market
    On Sunday, November 11 and Monday, November 12, Boston Market will offer a buy one get one deal. This deal is available on an individual meal with drink. An online coupon is required.

    Hooters
    On November 11, Hooters will give all veterans and active duty military a free meal with purchase of a beverage. The free meal is from the Hooters Special Veterans Day Menu. This menu features six popular entrees, like 10-piece traditional wings, Hooters Burger and Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. It is a dine-in only offer.

    White Castle
    On both November 11 and November 12, White Castle will offer a free Combo Meal. This offer is available to all veterans and active military member. The offer can be enjoyed either via drive thru or dine in at participating locations.

    Chipotle
    On Sunday, November 11, Chiptole will offer a buy one get one free offer on burritos, bowls, salads and taco orders. The company states that the offer is available to “active duty military, reserves, national guard, military spouses and retired military with valid ID.” The free meal must be of equal or lesser value.
