Holiday Baking Championship Season 5 episode 4 looks to find the beauty in holiday treats. This week’s challenges has the bakers challenging their artistic side. Which baker will impress with their visual creativity?

According to the Food Network, this week’s episode, Holiday Artistry, will include the following:

"The holidays are a time for artistry and decorations, so for the pre-heat, inflatable holiday decorations inspire the six bakers’ cute cream puff displays. In the main heat, the bakers dazzle the judges with delicious hand-painted eggnog cakes."

    • Inflatable holiday decorations seems like a difficult task for the bakers. If they have to create delicate sugar art for this challenge, the bakers could see their dreams of a title pop. Hopefully, the inflatable aspect is just the puffy quality of the cream puffs.

    For the main heat, the eggnog cakes could be tricky. Eggnog is a difficult flavor. While it is a classic holiday option, the flavor can easily vary from too bold to non-existent. Hopefully, the bakers can find the right balance.

    Additionally, it will be curious what the twist will be for the main heat. Some flavors, like rum and brandy, pair well with eggnog. If the bakers have to find a pairing with an unusual flavor (remember last week’s green apple), that baker could face a difficult challenge. Could one baker just have bad luck or will everyone experience the happiness of the holiday season?
