Hell’s Kitchen Season 18 finale part 1 preview: Exclusive clip, warning spoilers ahead

Who will join Ariel in Hell’s Kitchen Season 18 finale part 1? Does a veteran make a triumphant return or did a rookie capture the finale spot?

Hell’s Kitchen Season 18 finale part 1 looks to be a wild ride for the two chefs battling for the position at Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen Restaurant at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. As last week’s episode ended in a cliffhanger, only one finalist was revealed. Who will join Ariel in the final kitchen competition?

According to FOX, the Hell’s Kitchen Season 18 finale part 1 preview states:

"After a shocking elimination, the final two chefs receive unexpected help for their final menus. They share their highs and lows with Chef Ramsay over brunch and are surprised with a visit from their families. But, the fun is short-lived, as Chef Ramsay sends the teams back to Hell’s Kitchen to learn the menus and plan for the biggest service of the finalists’ lives, taking place at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Find out who has what it takes to win the life-changing grand prize: a position at the world’s first Gordon Ramsay HELL’S KITCHEN Restaurant at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and $250,000 in the all-new, special two-hour “A Rollercoaster Ride / The Grand Finale” Season 18 finale episode of HELL’S KITCHEN airing Friday, Feb. 8 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX."

A couple of items are quite curious regarding this synopsis. First, a look back at the season is a great way to reflect on the journey. Both the finalists have had some great dishes this season. More importantly, they both stayed true to their culinary styles and worked hard in the process.

Second, the trip to a theme park is a little unusual. Sure, Six Flags Magic Mountain has great thrill rides and theme park food has become more adventurous, but it isn’t an expected stop for Hell’s Kitchen. Sure, this season has been a rollercoaster, but no one would have guessed that the finalists would actually go on a rollercoaster this season.

This clip is quite interesting. It is another classic Hell’s Kitchen twist. Just when the chefs think that they are getting a break, they are thrown into another competition. Cooking in a pop-up kitchen, outside, in front of a rollercoaster is crazy.

SPOILER – Now, since you’ve watched the video, the two finalists are Ariel and Mia. This finale battle, in two parts, should be quite competitive. While it isn’t clear how this pop-up challenge at Six Flags Magic Mountain affects the final dinner service, both chefs will definitely want to win.

Given the cooking scenario, the edge should go to Ariel. She seems to be less frazzled under pressure. More importantly, she might have expected some crazy twist.

Still, Mia has won more challenges than any other Hell’s Kitchen chef. She has an amazing palate and her recipes are creative. Truthfully, it is anyone’s challenge to win.
