Did you hear about Hooters Stuffed Wings? This newest Hooters chicken wing could be the next big thing, but there is only one way to get it.

Want to try Hooters Stuffed Wings? The newest chicken wing innovation to hit the iconic chicken wing restaurant has arrived. While many chicken wing fans will be clamoring to try these delicious bites of chicken goodness, there is only one way to get them now. DoorDash to the rescue.

According to Hooters, the new Stuffed Wings are “original-style chicken wings hand-stuffed with either zesty chorizo or cajun jambalaya.” Based on this description, a fork and knife will be required to enjoy this chicken goodness.

How the chicken wing is stuffed is unclear. Still, it seems likely that the “stuffing” goes under the skin.

This newest menu item follows on the successful launch of its smoked wings. That wing style was hugely successful. Guests enjoy that robust, yet nuanced, flavors that the smoke gives to the iconic chicken wings.

Even though Hooters has been a leader in the chicken wing niche, the brand is always looking to innovate and evolve. This idea of stuffing chicken wings fits into the profile. Sometimes guests want flavor combinations that aren’t typical. In this case, combining wings and chorizo or wings and jambalaya is part of that innovation.

To celebrate the launch of Hooters Stuffed Wings, the restaurants are partnering with DoorDash. Before the wings go on sale in Hooters restaurants, DoorDash customers can get a free order.

According to DoorDash, from “Friday, February 22 through Sunday, February 24, customers can enter promo code “STUFFED” when ordering from participating Hooters restaurants on DoorDash.com or the DoorDash app and receive a free order of either zesty chorizo or cajun jambalaya hand-stuffed wings, with a $15 minimum order.* This offer is exclusively delivered with DoorDash to its customers and will not be available in restaurants or with any other delivery services.”

This special promotion is beneficial to both companies. DoorDash potentially gets more customers. Hooters fans have a way to get a sneak preview of some new menu items. Overall, it is a win win.

The only people potentially upset could be other wing restaurants. This promotion and new menu item might draw consumers away from other restaurants. With March Madness approaching, many restaurants will be launching deals, special menu items and other promotions ahead of the big brackets.
