Looking at this week’s episode, the young chefs have another great prize to win. Having a recipe featured in Family Circle Magazine is a huge accomplishment. Wouldn’t you want to have a published recipe before the age of 16?

More specifically, a chicken cookout isn’t necessarily an easy task. Serving raw chicken is a huge cooking error. Could some of these young chefs commit the ultimate cooking don’t?

Additionally, chicken dishes are notoriously difficult. No one wants dry, under-seasoned chicken breasts. While dark meat is more flavorful, it can be more difficult to cook. These young chefs need to find the right balance of flavor and execution.

It seems that Gordon Ramsay gets a little upset with his aspiring chefs. Hopefully, no one served him raw chicken.

Lastly, the second challenge focuses on coconut cream pie. Pies are another difficult task. Creating a delicious pie crust needs precision. Hopefully, these young chefs have made a pie crust previously.

Based on this week’s difficult challenges, these young chefs might be wishing for some s’mores and a hot dog.
