MasterChef Celebrity Family Showdown: Who will impress Gordon Ramsay?

In the kitchen, celebrity status may not impress Gordon Ramsay. MasterChef Celebrity Family Showdown pits celebrities and their families against another celebrity team. With a variety of culinary challenges, who will impress the MasterChef judges?

MasterChef and MasterChef Junior have legends of fans. As Gordon Ramsay, Aaron Sanchez and Joe Bastianich have challenged amateur cooks to improve their culinary skills, food fans have cheered, and in some cases, learned new culinary tricks and hacks. In this version of MasterChef, the competition is slightly more entertaining than educational.

Celebrity competition shows are always entertaining. Watching popular celebrities out of their traditional element seems to make fans turn into the shows. Whether it is the competition or entertainment value, these shows are always must watch food television.

In this two-part special series, there are a total of four culinary competitions in the episodes. The competing celebrities and their family members are:

While each culinary battle has a different theme, a few teams might have an advantage in their match-ups. Given that Lisa Vanderpump is a restaurateur and winemaker, she and her daughter should do well in the competition. While they may not cook at home, they should understand flavor.

The other interesting match-up is Johnny Weir vs. Tara Lipinisky. The two figure skaters are such an entertaining pair. From skating commentary to hosting Wedding Cake Championship, these culinary battle should be quite engaging.

While the battles themselves will be fierce, it will be curious to see how critical the judges will be. Although each of these judges have been quite stern on other MasterChef shows, who knows if that quick wit and cutting phrase will be as severe in this charity competition. Although it is doubtful that tears will be shed, everyone will be waiting for at least one classic Ramsay line.
