Drinkable candy bars? SNICKERS and TWIX flavors upgrade chocolate milk
Forget a stroll down the candy aisle. SNICKERS and TWIX can be found in the refrigerated section and drinking milk will never be the same.
Why have a candy bar and a glass of milk when you can have a drinkable candy bar? New SNICKERS and TWIX chocolate flavored milks are coming to the refrigerated aisle. Now these flavored milks might not be what mom intended, but they sound pretty tasty. Could these flavored milks be your new treat?
According to the brands, these flavored milks add the flavors of the classic candy bars to the chocolate milk. It isn’t a bunch of candy pieces mixed into the milk.
The SNICKERS flavored chocolate milk is described as a “bold, nutty flavor balanced with the intense sweetness of gooey caramel and rich chocolate.” Based on this description, the milk shouldn’t be overly sweet. Hopefully, there is a hint of salt, just like there is in the candy bar. That combination is part of the reason why SNICKERS is so satisfying.
The TWIX Flavored Chocolate Milk is described as “the three harmonious flavors of smooth chocolate, rich caramel and cookie.” This flavor is a little harder to grasp. One of the reasons why TWIX works well is the difference in textures. It will be interesting to see how the cookie flavor comes through in the flavor combination.

These flavored milks seem like a sometime treat or even a dessert. Even though they are packed with 14 grams of protein, they do seem rather. Maybe they could be a replacement for a milkshake or a candy bar.
These flavored chocolate milks are made with real milk and chocolate milk can be a good post-workout food. As a mom to swimmers, chocolate milk is often our post-swim workout beverage. The combination of protein and carbs helps replenish those calories after swimming 5,000 meters.
Additionally, these chocolate milks could be used in coffee. Recently, candy flavored coffee creamers have become quite popular. These flavored milks could be a richer alternative to a coffee creamer.
The new SNICKERS and TWIX flavored chocolate milks will be available starting in May. The 14 ounce bottle has a suggested retail price of $2.49.
