MasterChef Season 10 episode 6 “Hot and Spicy” preview
Are you prepared for a “Hot and Spicy” MasterChef? In this week’s episode, the home cooks better be prepared for a big curve ball.
In every episode, the judges are saying that MasterChef Season 10 is going to be bigger, better and bolder than ever. Will this week’s crazy curve ball cause the 17 remaining home cooks to be completely flustered?
According to FOX, this week’s episode, “Hot and Spicy” features the following:
"The Top 17 remaining home cooks compete in a high-pressure mystery box challenge, inspired by special guest Alessandra Ambrosio, for a shot at immunity. When the judges throw the contestants a curve-ball half-way through the challenge, the home cooks will need to use all their skills to win. Contestants should expect the unexpected in the 10th anniversary season of MASTERCHEF. See who is granted immunity, going straight to the Top 15, in the all-new “Hot & Spicy” episode of MASTERCHEF airing Wednesday, June 26."
A couple of items are interesting in this synopsis. First, it will be curious to see the difference between a Mystery Box Challenge and a high-pressure Mystery Box Challenge. If the difference is just immunity, it could play with the home cooks’ nerves. Nervous chefs make mistakes.
Given that the special guest is Alessandra Ambrosio, the mystery box challenge could involve a Brazilian dish or set of ingredients. Did anyone do their food research or homework?

The mid-challenge twist should keep everyone guessing. Although this clip shares not a single hint about the twist, the possibilities will have everyone on the edge of their seats.
Lastly, the synopsis states Top 15. Does that mean this week a double elimination is coming? Maybe that fact is the twist from the preview clip.
