There’s more to Orlando than the theme parks. Plant Street Market is the place for foodies of all ages in the land of theme park food.

Whether you’re a visiting tourist or an Orlando local, it can be hard to draw yourself away from the theme parks. But if you’re willing to travel a little outside of the famous parks, you’re sure to find a treasure trove of fun places to explore.

One of our favorite areas of Orlando is Winter Garden. It’s about 30 minutes away from Walt Disney World and hosts one of the coolest food halls we’ve ever been to, Plant Street Market.

Inside there is an abundance of options from a brewery to homemade mini-donuts! We suggest looking around a bit first before deciding on what to eat.

If you’re looking for an ice cold beer Crooked Can Brewery is the place to be. They are serving up some of the best local beer in Orlando with a variety of options and seasonal brews.

Crooked Can is the cornerstone establishment inside Plant Street Market and host a variety of block parties and events throughout the year. The bar staff here are super friendly and are willing to lead you in the right beer choice for you.

Nothing goes better with beer than bbq. It’s the American way! This Little Piggy is serving guests some incredible bbq with hand cut fries. You can get all of the classic bbq options like ribs and brisket here and it’s all delicious.

We especially love their range of sauces, and be sure to ask for the fry sauce when you get your order. You’re not going to want to miss that.

For one of the best sandwiches you’ll probably ever have you’re going to want to try The Local Butcher and Market. Yes, they do offer a wide variety of fresh meat, but they are also making some great pressed sandwiches.

We loved the Cuban, which featured Mojo roasted pork, smoked ham, swiss, roasted poblano, pickle & mustard on a baguette.

To top off your Plant Street Market experience you should get something sweet and that’s where Sir Benji’s Donuts come in. They are frying donuts to order and bringing some really creative flavors to the people of Winter Garden.

We loved the sprinkle donut and the maple bourbon bacon donuts. These donuts are miniature so we won’t judge if you eat the whole order in one sitting. And honestly, what’s better than hot donuts?
