Wine lovers get ready for a four course dream meal at Terralina Crafted Italian
By Megan DuBois
Terralina Crafted Italian at Disney Springs is hosting a dream four course meal with exquisite wine pairings.
There are a ton of options to dine at while at Disney Springs but one of the best Italian places at the shopping and dining district of Walt Disney World is Terralina Crafted Italian! Next month the restaurant is hosting a four course wine pairing dinner highlighting the tastes of Tuscany, and we got a sneak preview of the menu!
The whole evening will be spent with James Beard Award winning chef Tony Mantuano and executive chef Justin Plank, who have curated the menu and wine pairings for the evening.
Guests will start out with the restaurants infamous antipasti towers, which have a variety of cured meats, vegetables, Parmesan crisps, and our favorite pecorino-truffle potato chips!
Also served will be a warm chicken liver pate. The wine served is going to be Vermentino ‘Plinio’ Bruni, which is a white wine from Tuscany.
The second course is the pasta course which is fresh Pico pasta tossed in what sounds like the most delicious sauce! The sauce is made with extra virgin olive oil, toasted garlic and roasted tomatoes.
Mixed into the pasta will be fresh artichoke hearts and torn basil. We want to head to Terralina Crafted Italian just to get this pasta! Le Sughere, Frassinello is the wine paring here, and it’s a red wine from Tuscany.
Course three is bringing the big guns with a Bistecca porterhouse steak carved table side! That’s going to be the Instagram moment of the night by far.
The steaks are going to be served with family style sides. Options include Tuscan beans, braised escarole, roasted tomatoes and roasted potatoes, all of which sound like the perfect pairing with a steak! The wine pairing with the steak is Brunello di Montalcino, Camigliano, which is a bold red wine from Tuscany.
The final course is dessert, and you’re going to want to save room for it. Guests will be served an olive oil cake that’s topped with soaked fresh berries.
The dessert sounds like the perfect ending to what’s sure to be a fantastic meal. The wine being served with the cake is Vin Santo “Sangallo“ Fattoria del Cerro, which is a Tuscan dessert wine.
We love that the chefs from Terralina Crafted Italian have paired up all of the courses with wines from Tuscany. This brings such an authenticity to the meal, as if you’re being transported to Tuscany, eating Tuscan food from someones kitchen and drinking like the locals do.
