BBQ Brawl Flay vs. Symon finale is here. With just two pitmasters left, who will be Master of ‘Cue? Could it depend on who has the best sous chef?

The BBQ Brawl Flay vs. Symon finale is going to be a huge challenge. While the pitmasters have tackled all types of regional cuisines, unusual twists and even a little banter from the mentors, will Bobby Flay or Michael Symon lead one of these ladies to the title of Master of ‘Cue?

According to Food Network, BBQ Brawl Flay vs. Symon finale, “Going Whole Hog” features the following:

"The competition started with eight of the world’s greatest barbecue pitmasters, and it’s down to the final two. Bobby Flay and Michael Symon transform from mentors to sous chefs in a barbecue battle for the ages. But when the sun sets on Star Hill Ranch, only one competitor can walk away with their own digital series and lay claim to the title Master of ‘Cue."

First, having Bobby and Michael become sous chefs is a great idea. Throughout this competition the two chefs have been guiding their teams and battling each other. By putting them in the middle of the finale competition, it gives them a bigger role in the pitmasters’ ultimate success.

Looking the finale, it is refreshing that two women are battling for the title. Sometimes women feel that grilling and barbecue is a man’s job. Anyone and everyone can learn to tame the flame. Great grilling and barbecue isn’t gender specific.

Thinking about the finale, Lee Ann definitely has an advantage. She has cooked in numerous competitions. She has run several barbecue restaurants. She is a force in the barbecue world.

Susie has the most to gain in this competition. Many of her dishes have offered a slightly more non-traditional twist on some classics. If she can beat Lee Ann, she definitely will have the barbecue world take notice.

Lastly, it is a competition between Bobby and Michael. There are bragging rights on the line for these two friends. Depending on the outcome, could a rematch be scheduled for next summer?
