Disneyland’s latest Starbucks creation is bright pink and green and we need it

The Maleficent Frappuccino is the hot item at Disneyland right now featuring a bright pink blended drink and green whipped cream!

Halloween at the Disney Parks is here and when it comes to seasonal treats no one does it better than Disney and that includes the Starbucks that are operated on Disney property. Over at the Disneyland Resort the Starbucks have come up with a new blended Frappuccino celebrating one of our favorite Disney villains, Maleficent.

The sweet concoction is made with a base of vanilla bean créme then blended with blueberry juice and dragonfruit to get it’s bright pink color. The green whipped cream is Starbucks regular whipped cream that’s had matcha mixed in.

And even though the color of the drink is pink instead of Maleficent iconic purple we can look past that for the perfect Instagram photo of the drink with Sleeping Beauty Castle in the background. The Frappuccino will cost you $5.69 before taxes for a grande.

If you’re not planning a trip to Disneyland during Halloween Time at the parks you can enjoy the drink from your local Starbucks as well. Just be sure to tell them what exactly the drink is made with and know they might not have the matcha whipped cream for the top.

We love how refreshing this drink is, even though it’s fairly sweet. It’s still pretty hot in Anaheim so any way to cool down is good for us. This along with a yummy pastry from Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe sounds like a great way to start the morning at Disneyland Park.

The Maleficent Frappuccino can be found at both Disneyland Park at the Market House on Main Street U.S.A. and Disney California Adventure at Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe on Buena Vista Street.
