You can soon buy Totino’s Pizza Rolls and unlock Call of Duty: Modern Warfare content

Totino’s is the latest company to combine e-Sports and food in their partnership with Call of Duty.

Nothing goes better together than pizza rolls and video games. Now, players can enhance their gaming experience with the purchase of various Totino’s-sponsored snacks.

Thanks to Totino’s, you can unlock Call of Duty: Modern Warfare items by purchasing select products and applying codes in-game.

Totino’s Pizza Rolls, Mini Snack Bites, and Multi-Pack Party Pizza will all include unique product codes on their packaging, which you can enter into the game in exchange for content you can’t get anywhere else.

Totino’s is not the first company to bring food and eSports together with delicious partnerships. GrubHub recently partnered with Twitch and Mixer to encourage viewers to tune into various live streams for a chance to win free food delivery.

Mountain Dew has also become a major partner in the e-Sports world, sponsoring its own league and working with the world’s largest eSports company for multiple years in a row.

Why do partnerships between food and beverage companies and gaming companies work? Because games and food just go together.

If gamers are already going to purchase snacks and drinks to fuel their gameplay sessions, it only makes sense that companies would jump at the chance to encourage even more players to choose their products.

With the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare later this month, players can earn a double XP boost and several other in-game rewards depending on how much they purchase from Totino’s and where they make their purchase.

According to a press release:

"“Consumers can now redeem a calling card with the purchase of one participating Totino’s product, a watch with the purchase of two products, and a charm with the purchase of three. In addition, consumers who purchase product exclusively at Walmart will receive a 2XP boost in the game.”"

You can expect participating Totino’s products to arrive on store shelves mid-October, just in time to collect a few codes and prepare for the official release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on October 25.
