Sometimes on Halloween Wars, fear and fun are the perfect pair. In this week’s episode, the zombies might come out at night, but they are looking for love, not brains. Which team will make the perfect match?
According to the Food Network, this week’s Halloween Wars episode, “Zombie Dating Show” synopsis states:
"Five teams made up of an expert pumpkin carver, a cake artist and a sugar master create amazing and tasty Halloween-themed displays that mix fear and romance in a depiction of a zombie dating show. The special guest judge is Fear the Walking Dead’s Colman Domingo."
This week’s theme could really push the creativity level. While zombies are frightful, they can also be a little fun. In some ways, this challenge needs to have the right balance. Too cartoonish and the fear fails. Too gruesome and the date night is lost.
Looking back at last week’s episode, the teams seem to be pushing the limits. From gigantic displays to intricate designs, these teams are ready to embrace the weekly challenge.
Additionally, the tasting elements are weighing into the final decision. Although the visuals are compelling for the fan, the judges understand that the treats are equally important. Will this week’s treats be the sweet aphrodisiac for zombie love?
