For a second year in a row, TRUFF Hot Sauce has made Oprah’s Favorite Things List. If you haven’t tried it already, what are you waiting for?

Oprah’s Favorite Things List comes out but once a year, and for the second year in a row TRUFF has made the list with their limited edition White Truffle blend. Not only that, but TRUFF is the best selling hot sauce on Amazon. But seeing how popular it is can only get you so far. It was high time I tasted the popular hot sauce.

The original TRUFF Hot Sauce is certainly nothing to scoff at. Made from the finest ripe chili peppers, organic agave nectar, black truffle, and other savory spices, this sauce lands at a nice 2,500-3Kon the scoville scale. Yet despite the heat, this was surprisingly sweet, and tasted great on both pizza and french fries.

The TRUFF Hotter Sauce was just as delightful, and yes, it was certainly hotter. This blend includes jalapeno, red chili peppers, black truffle oil, organic agave nectar, red habanero powder, organic cumin, and organic coriander. This sauce is a ripe 5k-7k on the scoville scale, and you will feel the burn.

This sauce is also not as sweet, but still tastes wonderful. This also pairs well with pizza and french fries, though I also put some in my ramen and I was not disappointed.

Last but certainly not least, the White Truffle Limited Release offers hot sauce fans a unique hot sauce experience. Presented in a beautiful white box with gold trim, this feels more like a luxury experience than a food.

Made with all the same ingredients at the original sauce — but this time with white truffles — this offers a sweet profile with a mild kick. Just like the original, this also falls at 2,500-3K on the scoville scale. At $34.99 a bottle, this should be something hot sauce fans splurge on this season.
