Only one chef will be crowned the Ultimate Thanksgiving Challenge champion. Who will make the most impressive holiday meal in the finale?

It is the finale of Ultimate Thanksgiving Challenge on the Food Network. While three chefs dream of the $25,000 prize, only one will be crowned champion. Who will earn the Season 2 title?

As everyone prepares for Thanksgiving, the finale of Ultimate Thanksgiving Challenge could be your inspiration to cook the meal of your life. While everyone has family favorite recipes or traditional dishes, this episode could spark some creativity in your kitchen.

According to the Food Network, the Ultimate Thanksgiving Challenge Season 2 finale synopsis states:

"Giada De Laurentiis challenges the three final chefs to make a dish that represents the person they’re most thankful for, and they each have to incorporate a different type of squash. The chef who most impresses judges Alex Guarnaschelli, Carla Hall and Christian Petroni wins a critical advantage for the dinner round, when the chefs have to make the ultimate Thanksgiving feast. The final three chefs battle through hours of cooking until the best walks away with $25,000 and the title of Ultimate Thanksgiving Challenge Champion."

The first challenge is a lovely idea for any holiday meal. Being inspired by someone influential can evoke a lot of emotion. In many ways, these types of dishes have the passion that foodies appreciate.

For the home cook, this concept could easily be applied to her Thanksgiving table. Just like grandma’s stuffing recipe, a dish inspired by family could become a holiday tradition for years to come.

As for the final challenge, these three talented chefs need to find the right balance between traditional and creativity. That concept has woven its way throughout this season.

While global flavors have mixed with traditional, this finale meal needs to highlight the real concept of Thanksgiving, gratitude. Although that concept isn’t a flavor or ingredient, it should influence each and every dish.

Looking at the three chefs, the Ultimate Thanksgiving Challenge is anyone’s title to win. Eric had a strong showing last week. Christian has impressed with his creativity. Robin has lived up to the challenge.

While FoodSided doesn’t want to sway the cheering sections, our best guess is that the title will be a battle between Eric and Christian. Most likely it will be the chef who executes the best, has a flare for the creative and never loses sight of the traditional connection who will earn the title.
