Denny’s will offer you a Thanksgiving meal this year — no cooking required
By Meg Dowell
Is preparing a Thanksgiving meal out of your realm of possibilities this year? Denny’s has you covered.
Thanksgiving food is arguably the best home-cooked food of the year. Mostly because it’s the one shared meal no one can judge you for filling over half your plate with mashed potatoes and going back for seconds (and thirds?).
It’s not all about the food, though. This holiday is an ideal holiday to spend quality time with family and friends, whether you spend it sharing a meal, watching the Macy’s parade, playing a casual game of football, or all of the above.
If cooking a Thanksgiving meal isn’t an option for you or your family this year, Denny’s has you covered. Its new Thanksgiving menu items offer all the typical Thanksgiving meal staples with none of the stress of cooking times and temperatures, forgotten ingredients, or turkeys left a little too long in the spare downstairs oven.
But don’t worry — you can still enjoy an amazing Thanksgiving meal without having to spend part of your day sitting in a restaurant. Denny’s is offering a carry-out option, which means you can enjoy the same food at your own table at home, even if you don’t cook a single thing.
The Turkey & Dressing Dinner Pack includes turkey and turkey gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and one additional side of your choosing. You can also order and take home an apple pie crisp or cheesecake if you know you won’t survive the holiday without dessert.
Or, you can use the time you would have spent making all that food to fill your fridge with homemade pies to enjoy after you stuff yourself full of turkey. It’s really up to you.
Each dinner pack is ready to heat and serve, so you will be able to serve and enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving meal in no time.
All you have to do is order your meal from Denny’s online by 6 p,m. ET on Wednesday, November 27 to be ready for pickup by the 28th. You must order at least 24 hours before your estimated pickup time, and this particular meal option is only available for carry-out.
If you do choose to dine in at your local Denny’s restaurant on or before Thanksgiving, there is a Turkey & Dressing Dinner option that includes similar menu items as the dinner pack, with the option of multiple sides and dinner bread.
Will you be skipping a traditional home-cooked Thanksgiving meal this year? What are your plans instead?
