It is time to unwrap the Holiday Wars finale. With two stellar teams looking to impress the judges, this Food Network show looks to determine who is supreme, elves or reindeer.
The Holiday Wars finale is here and Food Network fans are excited to crown one team as the ultimate holiday champion. After looking at Santa’s side gig, naughty lists and even elves’ auditions, there is one big question remaining. Who is more important to Santa’s success, elves or reindeer?
According to the Food Network, this week’s finale episode of Holiday Wars, “Elves vs. Reindeer,” features the following:
"The two remaining teams of cake masters and sugar artists face off for their final festive battle. Host Jonathan Bennett challenges them to showcase the ultimate friendly rivalry between Santa’s best employees, elves and reindeer. Chef Shinmin Li and Jason Smith judge which team will walk away with a grand prize of $25,000."
This theme should allow some very creative displays for the two teams. While these teams haven’t necessarily gone huge in their displays, this theme could see some interesting choices in size.
Throughout this season, the judges have discussed the importance of proportion and scale. Although all the details make the display pop, the proportion sets the scene. All the details fall aside if the scale is wrong.
It will be interesting to see how this theme will work with elves and reindeer. The size difference could make or break the displays.
Lastly, the tasting element could be the difference between winning and losing the Holiday Wars title. Could one team really impress with some amazing flavors and innovation in the last tasting bite of the season?
