In another Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back, a New Jersey restaurant is in need of some major intervention and they better not fuggedaboutit.

Are you ready for this week’s Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back? While last week’s episode was slightly less cringe worthy, this week’s trek to Caneda’s White Rooster might have guests wishing that they had found a New Jersey diner instead. Can you say fuggedaboutit?

According to FOX, this week’s Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back, “Caneda’s White Rooster” features the following:

"Gordon Ramsay’s “Hell On Wheels” travels to Caneda’s White Rooster, a Cuban-inspired restaurant located in Tom’s River, NJ. Alongside special guest stars, “The Sopranos” alums Joey Gannascoli and Vincent Pastore, Chef Ramsay and his crew find a passionate, but inexperienced team, whose lack of respect for each other make it difficult to work together. Ramsay will try to bring this failing restaurant back from the brink of disaster – all in just 24 hours. As the clock ticks down, Ramsay and his team transform this restaurant with a spectacular renovation, a fresh new menu and hope for the future in the all-new “Caneda’s White Rooster” episode of GORDON RAMSAY’S 24 HOURS TO HELL AND BACK airing Tuesday, Jan. 21 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (HRS-303) (TV-14 L)"

Looking at the synopsis, it isn’t clear the type of food being served at this restaurant. With a little bit of research, it appears that the restaurant serves Cuban. Given that particular cuisine, it will be curious to see what Gordon does with the menu.

While the restaurant is located in New Jersey, the special guest stars make for an entertaining introduction, but it doesn’t necessarily apply to the style of restaurant. Maybe this idea would be better suited for a traditional Italian restaurant.

Based on the preview view, it seems that the restaurant suffers from a variety of issues. From a dirty kitchen to poor communication, these issues seem like problems that can be solved.

Looking at current Yelp reviews and other restaurant reviews, diners’ experiences are mixed. Some people appreciate Gordon’s consolidated menu and others feel the dishes are too simple.

Cuban food is often layers of big, bold flavors. While a simplified menu can keep costs in check, the authenticity of the dishes cannot be overlooked. Hopefully, everyone involved can find the right balance.
