As foodies get excited about Bravo’s Top Chef Food & Wine Festival at Universal Studios Hollywood, the menu could be part of any Top Chef restaurant.

Did you get your tickets to Bravo’s Top Chef Food & Wine Festival at Universal Studios Hollywood? While everyone is excited about the upcoming Top Chef Season 17 – All Stars LA, the recently revealed sample menu items are worthy of a Michelin Star restaurant. Are you counting down the days till the event?

While many food festivals feature some of Top Chef’s favorite chefs, the Bravo television show hasn’t had its own food and wine festival. This inaugural event is bringing foodies and fans to Universal Studios Hollywood for the multi-day event.

With Universal Studios Hollywood as the locale, it shows that theme parks are more than just hamburgers and hot dogs. The Universal culinary team is just as talented as some of the nation’s best chefs. Now, a theme park visit is as much about the food as the thrills.

For this event, the Universal culinary team worked with Shirley Chung to create some sample menu items for the special event. The sample menu includes: “Roasted Red Snapper with Green Tomato Salsa Verde, Lechon with Papaya Pico di Gallo, Drunken Doughnuts with Champagne Raspberry Jam, Yuzu Aguachile with Dragonfruit & Avocado and Liquid Nitrogen Chocolate Mousse.”

These dishes feature a journey through global flavors and ingredients. While each dish is approachable, the dishes push the envelope. It shows that there are global cuisines are definitely have a moment.

While it is best to try each of these dishes, the Lechon with Papaya Pico di Gallo should be the star. Papaya is a lovely twist to a traditional pico de gallo. Plus, the papaya is a perfect pairing to the rich lechon. You might want to get a second plate.

Yuzu Aguachile with Dragonfruit & Avocado will have people discovering the shrimp dish. While traditionally a Mexican dish, the yuzu and dragonfruit offer a totally new approach to this traditional dish.

Since every food festival needs to end on a sweet note, the Drunken Doughnuts with Champagne Raspberry Jam will quickly become the most talked about sweet treat. Can anyone really resist a drunken doughnut?

In addition to this sample menu, many fans will be excited to see Top Chef Cheftestants. Right now, participants include Eric Adjepong, Jennifer Carroll, Stephanie Cmar, Lisa Fernandes, Kevin Gillespie, Jamie Lynch, Brian Malarkey, and Joe Sasto.. More chefs will be announced at a later date.

Even though VIP tickets are sold out, other ticket options are available. The event will be held March 19 and 20 at Universal Studios Hollywood. Top Chef Season 17 All Stars LA premieres on Bravo on Thursday, March 17, 2020.
