Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back Season 3 finale preview
This week’s Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back Season 3 finale is a double dose of Gordon Ramsay. Are you prepared for these restaurant disasters?
After a season of smells, disasters and a little humor, Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back Season 3 finale is here. In this two-hour episode, the chaos might seem totally out of control. Can Gordon get these restaurants back into shape or will the restaurants never recover?
According to Fox, this week’s Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back Season 3 finale, “Bear’s Den Pizza/South Boulevard” features the following:
"On the special two-hour season finale, Gordon Ramsay’s “Hell On Wheels” travels to Bear’s Den Pizza, a pizza restaurant and college bar located in Conway, AR. Chef Ramsay and his crew find a restaurant in disarray due to one owner’s drinking and violent outbursts, and the other’s inability to be present to help the staff. Then, “Hell On Wheels” travels to South Boulevard, a Korean inspired restaurant located in Little Rock, AR. There, Ramsay’s staff finds an inexperienced owner whose lack of knowledge in the industry has led to a decline in business. Ramsay will try to bring these failing restaurants back from the brink of disaster – all in just 24 hours. As the clock ticks down, Ramsay and his team transform these restaurants with spectacular renovations, fresh new menus and hope for the future in the all-new “Bear’s Den Pizza / South Boulevard” two-hour season finale episode of GORDON RAMSAY’S 24 HOURS TO HELL AND BACK airing Tuesday, Feb. 25 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (HRS-308/309) (TV-14 D, L)"
Looking at this synopsis, the “Bear’s Den Pizza” episode seems to address a common problem in restaurant failures. Inattentive owners who use the restaurant as their own personal escape seem to fail. A restaurant needs a strong leader or the business will never succeed.
While these restaurant makeover shows provide just a snippet of the big picture, it seems that Bear’s Den Pizza might have issues beyond the failing restaurant. Although no one might think of Gordon as a therapist, his blunt approach might be just what the owners need. While that hard edge makes for good television, it shows that Gordon really wants to bring the best out the restaurant owners. His passion just takes a different form.
In the second part of the episode, “South Boulevard,” the restaurant problems seem quite different. The location and potential customers need to fit the area. If a town doesn’t understand Korean food or doesn’t appreciate Korean flavors, that restaurant might not be right for the area.
While many people would love to go into the restaurant business, it takes a lot of knowledge. It is more than just making a great dish. From food costs to employee management, all types of knowledge are needed to have a successful restaurant.
As Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back Season 3 comes to a close, many people will remember the dirty kitchens and the bad smells. But, the real story is how many people’s lives were changed by the experience. For every successful restaurant, there is a community that benefits from that good business.
