Goodbye winter and hello Spring Baking Championship Season 6. The fan favorite Food Network show is back and everything is looking brighter.

As the flowers bloom, Spring Baking Championship Season 6 premieres on Food Network. These eleven bakers are ready to take on this Food Network baking championship. What delicious treats will be blossoming on this season?

According to Food Network, this Spring Baking Championship Season 6 premiere episode, “Spring’s Natural Wonder” features the following:

"Eleven bakers celebrate the natural beauty of spring by making perfectly patterned spring fruit geometric tarts. Then they show off their skills by making trendy fault line cakes that feature spring transformations such as caterpillar to butterfly, rain showers into sunshine and bare trees bursting into bloom."

For the first challenge, geometric tarts are much harder than then seem. While creating a tart is never simple on these Food Network challenges, the pattern on the tart must be exact. No one wants an abstract tart when they meant to create a geometric one.

Also, the flavors in the spring fruit tarts could either be good or bad. Duff Goldman may not be a fan of rhubarb. Could all those rhubarb tarts cause him to feel a little sour?

As for the main heat, a trendy fault line cake could quite difficult. Some of the competing bakers do more plated desserts. These type of fully decorative cakes could prove more difficult for them.

Still, Spring Baking Championship is a blend of decoration and flavor. One cannot happen without the other. If the prettiest cake cannot deliver on taste, the judges will not let that aspect slide.
